Make Sure You're Fully Protected with a Modern Upgrade

Our expert electricians ensure your electrics are safe, compliant, and up to standard, giving you peace of mind and avoiding costly surprises.

Who Needs an EICR?

Homeowners

If your home hasn’t had its electrics tested in over 10 years or you’re buying, selling or renovating, an EICR is essential. It gives peace of mind that your family is safe and your property is protected from hidden electrical faults.

Landlords

Under current UK regulations, landlords must have an EICR carried out every 5 years or sooner if recommended.

You must supply a copy to tenants and your local authority if requested. Failure to comply could result in enforcement action and fines

Commercial Premises

Workplaces like offices, retail units and hospitality venues should have regular EICRs (usually every 5 years) to meet Health & Safety at Work regulations and insurance requirements. Protecting staff, customers and your assets is not just good practice — it's the law.

Industrial Properties

Factories, warehouses and workshops often have more complex electrical systems and heavier equipment loads.

Regular EICRs (typically every 3 years) help ensure safety, avoid costly downtime, and meet your duty of care as an employer.

Safety & Compliance

Stay Safe

Electrical faults are one of the leading causes of house fires and workplace incidents.

An EICR helps detect issues before they become dangerous, like loose connections, overheating, or damaged cables behind walls.

Stay Compliant

Whether you're a landlord, business owner or responsible person, electrical safety is your legal responsibility.

An up-to-date EICR keeps you compliant with:

  • The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector Regulations 2020
  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
Planning & Preparation

Planning & Preparation

Avoid Unexpected Costs

Catching faults early can save you from emergency repairs, downtime or damage to equipment.

EICRs highlight problems before they escalate, allowing you to budget and plan repairs proactively.

Prove Due Diligence

In the event of an incident, having an up-to-date EICR shows you’ve taken reasonable steps to maintain electrical safety.

This could protect you from fines, claims or voided insurance policies.

Had Chris and the team in for a Consumer Unit change and some downlights. 1st class from start to finish. Turned up on time and job completed within timescale. Would recommend.

Ben Whaling

Chris and his guys are really professional, and just very nice people to do business with.

I have used them many times now in my home for various projects and also my friends and family's homes.

Full house rewire in our house, along with spotlights and outside sockets and lights. Really pleased and I won’t be going anywhere else in future.

James Salt

Chris and particularly Alex have been involved in a full refurb of our new property. We had a full rewire, plus many extras. They have all been absolutely fantastic. Very professional, helpful and great at their work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who requires electrical work. Thank you guys.
